This is the meadow behind the cottage. Here you can see deer, coyotes, owls and hawks pass by on a daily basis. It's just so beautiful.
Tucked away on a quiet, woodsy road near the Coast of Maine, I came upon a small abandoned cottage at the edge of a meadow. I purchased the house in June 2012 and immediately began renovating the home and nine acres of land. On April Fools' Day 2013, however, everything changed! Not only has my home been reconstructed almost overnight, I have as well! I invite you to join this experience with me as I journal about the miracles along the way.

The New Cottage and the Meadow
I would like to introduce you to my new house! This is Catch Meadow Cottage. I know it looks plain and run-down but I assure you, in a few month's time it will be the most lovely little home. There is so much work to do. A new roof, new windows, new paint and new landscaping are just a few things that are needed.
